SD15, a successor of SD14, was exhibited in the booth. SD15 has inherited control panel, which is almost the same as SD14.

I bought SD14 because of quality of the sensor. Foveon sensor enables each pixel to have full RGB colors. This is the feature which only Foveon has.
Foveon sensor is incorporated in SD15 and Foveon is now owned by Sigma.

The acquisition of Foveon will not only enhance the development of new types of image sensors for high quality digital cameras, but will also create a synergistic effect with Sigma's camera and lens business by improving the integration between the camera and sensor.
I expect Sigma will be launching a DSLR with a full-size 35mm sensor. This became not so unrealistic by acquiring Foveon. Sigma should develop a bigger image sensor to make a number of pixels bigger.
