Share on Ovi Stream Version 1.0 Released

Share on Ovi is a contens sharing service originally by Twango now in Nokia. The limit of uploading was lifted to 2GB/month recently.
I wrote Share on Ovi Stream. This is an add-on for Action Streams, which is a plugin for Movable Type.
In this version, you can add contens in pulic channel (username.public) to your Action Streams.

tiinker Stream Version 1.0 Released

tiinker is a personalized news site, listing news according to what the user read and what articles were thumbed up or down.
I wrote tiinker Stream. This is an add-on for Action Streams, which is a plugin for Movable Type 4.
In this version of tiinker Stream, you can include 'History' and 'Scrapbook' of tiinker in Action Streams; Sample.
tiinker does not provide a user profile pagenow, so it is unavailable to link a profile page. Instead of a link to a profile page, home page of tiinker is set as a profile page. When tiinker provide a profile page for users, I will update this point.

The Limit Lifted to 2GB a month at Share on Ovi

Share on Ovi, Nokia's contents sharing service, lifted the limit of upload, 250MB a month to 2GB a month.
I wrote about Share on Ovi yesterday, and Twango team changed the limit as early as today. They did a great job. The limit was not removed but unloosed, getting a grip on reality. This is a great news. Practically speaking, we can upload photos, videos and audio unlimitedly. I thank Twango team for making this nice service.

What I Want
Share on Ovi is nice. So I want Ovi to be more useful. I want more RSS feeds. At least, My subscriptions and My favorites should have XML files. To use Share on Ovi mainly, I need them.

Share on Ovi, Contents Sharing Service by Nokia

Nokia launched Share on Ovi beta. It enable everyone to share contents, photo, movie, and music. This service was originally made by Twango. Twango was acquired by Nokia in July 2007.
Now, Share on Ovi has a limit of 250MB a month to upload. But Twango team will lift the limt soon, Jim Laurel, Director, Service Development said. This signifies they are going into the conflict. There is Flickr. If Share on Ovi offers unlimited upload service freely, it is better than Flickr. Flickr, this big success in Web 2.0, got the unprecedented rival.

About Embedding
For a blogger like me, embedding contents have importance. Of course, we can embed each photo. In addition, we can embed a channel, a group of photo. Share on Ovi has 3 embedding style for channels, Flash Ticker, Flash Slideshow, and Flash Grid.
